The Credo Clean Beauty Summit took place a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to be able to snag a ticket and spend a lovely Saturday afternoon exploring the latest and greatest in the Clean Beauty World. When I checked in to the event a swag bag filled with goodies was waiting for me as part of my registration, so I picked it up, grabbed a glass of organic champagne and started to scope out all the brands. I also enrolled in a Master Class on Ayurvedic Beauty with the founders of the brands Ranavat and Sahajan to learn more about this 5000 year old ancient science and it’s proven skincare ingredients. I had a fantastic day, and I came home with some truly amazing products.
Over the last couple weeks I have been testing out the samples I received and regularly using the products I was able to purchase. There were a ton of fab beauty and skincare products, but the following list are my top 5 favorite finds from the Summit.

Gentle Retinol Night Serum
This line has a cult following and I have heard about it from friends and clients for years. I had been on the hunt for a new retinol over the last couple months, so I decided to splurge and purchase the full size bottle at the Summit because I knew it would be effective yet still gentle on my skin. The Gentle Retinol Night Serum combines clean, high quality retinol with Vitamin A, C and E that help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as helps to maintain the moisture and suppleness of the skin. I have been loving layering this under my Yuli Cell Perfecto PM at night before I go to bed. It’s like a vitamin shot straight to my face and I wake up to the dewiest skin in the morning.

Jasmine Hydrating Tonique
This was an unexpected purchase, but after sitting in on the Ayurvedic Skincare Master Class I became really intrigued with this entire line. This product is essentially a hydrosol that is made of only one ingredient, Organic Jasmine. It smells so luxurious and is also moisturizing. I like to spray it on my face after washing it either in the morning or at night and let it sit for a few minutes before the rest of my skincare routine so I can breathe in the wonderful Jasmine scent.

RMS Beauty – “Un” Cover-Up
I received this as a sample in my swag bag and I also spent some time at the brand’s booth during the summit. One of the ladies working at the booth educated me on some of the products and did a mini make-up application to help me find the right shade and to test the product out on my skin. I loved the texture and coverage of this concealer so much I ended up ordering it online after I finished my sample the following week. It leaves a dewy finish that can be layered for more coverage or set it with a translucent powder to make it more matte. I have found that the product doesn’t get cakey and stays on well for most of the day.

SuperFinish Polishing Balm
I am obsessed with this hair balm and it has quickly become a staple in my styling routine! I received a travel-sized bottle of this product in the Credo swag bag and I will be purchasing the full size once this bottle is empty. To be honest, I was slightly skeptical of what a clean hair styling product could do for my hair, but hands down this product has made my hair softer, bouncier, and my blow-out last longer than any other styling product I currently use. I am looking forward to testing other products in this line that claims to be the intersection of science, health and sustainability in the haircare world.

Supreme Moisture Mask
Nuori was one of the first booths I visited at the Summit and was immediately intrigued by their minimalist design element as well as their sampling method of pouring freshly made product into travel sized bottles. NUORI stands by the philosophy of making products in small batches on a more frequent basis in order ensure the freshest products possible. The Supreme Moisture Mask was made right in front of me, and came in handy after having a facial the following week. I used the mask nightly to avoid any over drying or peeling after my facial and my skin stayed hydrated and dewy the following week.
